Section 2 — Collection of Stamp Duty in Calcutta to be ordinarily in charge of the Collector.
The Calcutta Land-Revenue Act, 1856
The collection of the Stamp Duty within the Town of Calcutta shall ordinarily, and unless the Lieutenant Governor of Bengal shall otherwise direct, be in the charge of the Collector of Calcutta.
