Section 84 — Penalty for being found drunk in any drinking house.

Whoever is found drunk or drinking in a common drinking house or is found there present for the purpose of drinking shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to ¹[five thousand rupees]. Any person found in a common drinking house during any drinking therein shall be presumed, until the contrary is proved, to have been there for the purpose of drinking.
