Section 17 — Temporary registration of vessels sought to be recycled.

Any vessel not registered under this Act which is sought to be recycled in India in accordance with the provisions of the Recycling of Ships Act, 2019 (49 of 2019) and the rules made thereunder, may be registered temporarily under this Part in such manner, for such duration and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed.
