Section 1 — Short title, extent and commencement.
THE SAPPHIRE ACT, 1989 (1932 A. D.)
(i) The Act may be called the Sapphire Act, 1989.
(ii) It shall extend to the 1[whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].
(iii) It shall come into operation immediately
