THE CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE (ASSAM AMENDMENT) ACT, 1953 (Passed by the Assembly) (Received the assent of the President on tbe 15th April 1953) [Published in the Assam Ga;:,ette, Extraordinary, dated the 18th April 1953] An Act to amend the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 in its application to Assam Preamble. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Code of Civil A t V f Procedure, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Code) 19c08• 0 in its application to the State of Assam in the manner here· inafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted as follows :- Short title l.
