Section 1 — Short title, extent and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Extraction of Resin Act, 1988.

(2)It shall extend to the ¹[whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].

(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on 23rd April, 1986.
