Sources and editorial review

NYAYA SIGNAL provides free access to official-source legal information and original explanations. Each content type has a different purpose.

Official legal text

Bare-act readers reproduce imported statutory material or link to official source documents. Source links and import dates appear beside the reader. Available official language versions are shown separately. A scanned source page is not represented as verified Unicode text.

Source briefs

A source brief helps you discover an official item. A court synopsis is not the complete judgment. Source briefs receive no advertising and are excluded from article search indexing until an original explanation has a current named review.

Original explanations

Explanations are written separately from the statutory or judgment text. The reviewer checks the English and Hindi text, examples, questions and source references. Hindi explanatory commentary is labelled as commentary; it is not presented as an official translation. A judgment explanation requires review of the complete official judgment.

AI and review

AI may assist with extraction and drafting. Its result remains in the editorial workspace until a named reviewer approves original commentary. Extraction confidence is not legal verification. Source changes invalidate the attached review, and the explanation is withdrawn until reviewed again.

Versions and corrections

The editorial workspace retains the reviewed source passage, references, reviewer, review time and revision history. A recorded hash identifies that retained passage; it does not certify that a remote source can never change. Check the official source and subsequent amendments or judicial interpretation before applying a legal rule.

If you find an error, use the contact page and identify the page URL, the affected section or paragraph and an official source for the correction.
