All ·members and officers of the Ayog shall. be deerried, while acling or purporting lo act, in pursu 

ance of any provisi;i1s of this Act, to be public servants within the meaning of Sectio\l 21 of the 

Indian Penal Code, 1860 (No. 45 of 1860) .. 

No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any member, officer or servant of 

the Ayog for anything which is done or intended to be done in good faith under this Act. 

(I) The State Government inay make rules generally for carrying out the provisions of this 

Act.. 

· (2) and in particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing pi•ovisions, such 

rules may provide fo r all or any of the following matters, namely :~ 

(a) terms and conditions of service of employees of the Ayog; 

(b) allowances which may be paid to members of the Ayog; 

(c) the manner in which the institutions shall be registered; 

(d) -the manner in which and the authority which shall operate the funds ofthe Ayog;

(e) the manner in which complaints shall be entertained by the Ayog -ani.l mode of enquiry; 

(f) the form and manner in which and the time within which the reports are to be .submitted by 

Ayog ; 
(g) the ree 011 the payment of which the registration shall bemade and the form in which 

registration certificate shall be issued . 

(h) tu constitute district and block level com111ittee. 

(i) any olher matler not specifically i;overed under this section. 

(3) All rules niade under this Act shall be laid on the table of the Legislative Assembly.

THE CHHATTISCARH GOSEVA AYOG (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2016

An Act to am€nd the Chhattisgarh Goseva Aayog Acl,2004 (No. 23 of2004).

Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-seventh Year of the
Republic oflndia, as follows :-

1. (l) ThisAct may becalled the Chhattisgarh Coseva Ayog (Amendment) short title, extent
Act,2016. flnd commencement'

(3) [t shal] come into force fi'om the date of its publication in the Official
Gazette.

2. (r) After clause (c) ofSection 2 of the Chhattisgarh Goseva Ayog Act, 2004 Amendmenr of
(No.23 of2004), (hereinafter re1'erred to as the PrincipaiAct), the foilowing scction 2'

shall be inserted. namely:-

"(c-l) "Vice-Chairperson" means the Vice-Chairperson ofthe Ayog."

l. In Section 3 ofthe PrincipalAct, afterthe word "Chairpe6on" the words "and Vice- Amendment of

(i) in sub-section (I), after the word "Chairperson" the words and symbol

5. In clause (e) of sub-section (3) of Section 6 of the Principal Act, afterthe word Amendment of
