Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Tripura in the Twenty-

third Year of the Republic of India as follows :-

Short Title' 1‘ (1) This Act may be called the Contingency Fund of Tripura
Act, 1972.

of rupees.

Custody of the (3) The Contingency Fund of Tripura shall be held on behalf of the

Contingency Governor of Tripura by the Secretary to the Government of Tripura in the

Wand Department, and no advances shall be made out of such Fund except for the

expenditure by the Legislative Assembly of Tripura under appropriations

made by law.

(4) For the purpose of carrying out the objects of this Act, the State

Government may make rules regulating all matters connected with or ancil—

lary to the custody of, the payment of moneys into and withdrawals of mon-

eys from, the Contingency Fund of Tripura.
