“Prescribed” means prescribed by rules made under this Act ;

“Qualified medical practitioner” means 4 medical practioner registered

in any State in India undera law for the registration of medical

practitioners either in Allopathy, Homeopathy or Indigenous System

of Medicine ; Oy '

“Qualified midwife’ means a midwife registered in any State in

India under a law for the registration of midwife ;

“Qualified nurse’? means a ourse registered in any State in India

under a lawfor the registration of nurses ;

 

“Register” means to resister under section 5 of this Act and the
