A person shall be disqualified, for being appointed as or for being a member of the State Level Committee, if he, (i) has been convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for an offence which in the opinion of the Government involves moral turpitude; or (ii) is an un-discharged insolvent; or (iii) is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; or (iv) has been removed or dismissed from the service of the Central or State Government or any body corporate owned or controlled by the Government.
