Chapter I

Preliminary

Short ti e, extent 7. (i) l-his Act may be called the S kkim State Disaster l\lanagernenl Act, :1004.

(ii) lt extends to the whote of the Slate oi Sikkim.

(li ) lt shall corne into force on such date as tjle Siate Government may, by

Definitions 2_ ln this Act, unless the context otherw se requires, -
