STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS
This Bill is one of those periodical measures by which enactments which have ceased to be in
force or have become obsolete, are repealed. On recommendation of the State Law Commission, and in
order to reduce regulatory compliance burden to facilitate ease of doing business for citizens and industries
and with the objective of decriminalization, it has been decided to repeal enactments which have become
redundant and obsolete in present times or retention whereof as separate Acts is unnecessary, by
introducing a Bill in the second session, of the year 2021, of the State Legislature after obtaining the.
consent of the Administrative Departments related therewith.
The Uttar Pradesh (Third) Repealing Bill, 2021 is introduced accordingly.
By order,
ATUL SRIVASTAVA,
Pramukh Sachiv.
